This book is slow on the go, but did begin to capture my attention about two thirds of the way through.  Love Charleston, ISBN 9781595542014, is about the story three cousins, Lish, Della & Ann.  Each of the women have their fair share of struggles which are true to what many women may struggle with today; postpartum depression, marital infidelity & loneliness.  This book gives a glimpse at the power of a family that sticks by each other even in the hard times.  It was filled with hope and courage, even when things didn’t go the way that had been planned.  It touches on the great debate of fidelity and sticking it through the hard times, and eventually does a wonderful job of pulling the reader into the story.  It took me 2 weeks to read the first 5 chapters…and then 1 day to finish the rest of the book.  I did appreciate the believability of the story, just wish it was quicker off the starting blocks!

I review for BookSneeze
